Illustrative use case
A guided intake
Turn a scattered first inquiry into consistent questions, a usable summary, and a human-reviewed next step.
AI tools / a scoped conversation
I’m Brandon Boyd, founder of Boyd Intelligence in Riverside, California. I build custom AI assistants and automation for businesses around one defined workflow—not a vague promise to add AI. We begin with the work and the people using it.

The useful question
A good tool has a narrow center: one recurring intake, one set of source materials, one handoff, or one decision that benefits from better context. That keeps the build understandable and gives the people using it a way to judge whether it is helping.
Illustrative use case
Turn a scattered first inquiry into consistent questions, a usable summary, and a human-reviewed next step.
Illustrative use case
Help a team find and compare information from an agreed body of material, with clear boundaries around what it can answer.
These are examples of possible workflows, not case studies or promised outcomes.
Before a build
Where does the work begin, what happens now, and where should it end?
What data or source materials are relevant, current, and appropriate to use?
Who needs access, what integrations are involved, and what permissions would be needed?
Where should a person review or decide, and what model or hosting costs continue after launch?
Useful answers
Standalone custom AI tools and automation engagements start at $4,999. The useful number depends on the workflow, source material, integrations, access requirements, and what needs human review. We discuss those pieces before defining a scope.
No. If the work is predictable, rules-based automation may be easier to understand and maintain. If the real problem is clarity, content, or a missing website, AI can be the wrong first purchase. The point of the first conversation is to sort that out.
Yes. A tool can be an internal workflow, a customer-facing feature, or part of a website. A website package can also include a scoped custom AI feature or workflow in its Advanced package; that is different from a standalone custom AI engagement.
Agree on representative examples, what a useful result looks like, and which errors are unacceptable. Test incomplete or misleading inputs as well as ordinary ones, and identify where a person must review the output. AI can produce confident mistakes; a working demo is not a guarantee of accuracy.
That needs to be assessed before use. We should identify what information is involved, who may access it, where it comes from, and whether it should be used at all. Those answers shape the scope and may rule out an AI approach.
A practical first call
You can describe the workflow as it exists today. We will determine whether a custom AI tool, an automation, a website feature, or no build at all is the more sensible next move.
